We came here since the other, more popular outlet was busier than normal according to Google. Service was quick and friendly—our food and drinks arrived fast. They were out of crayfish, so we had baby lobsters instead. We were informed that crayfish was low in supply & would be quickly snapped up whenever available—we’d just had three kinds of crayfish the night before at another Harbour Bay seafood spot. The butter baby lobster was the highlight—deep-fried until some shells turned crunchy and edible, with sweet-savory butter flavors and caramelized onions that paired perfectly. The garlic steamed version was less impressive; it came with a sweet, tangy sauce and bits of carrot that overpowered the lobster. Would’ve ordered differently if we’d known. The calamari was excellent—crispy, lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, and squid was fresh. The drunken prawns were decent—fresh and juicy in a mild herbal, gingery broth with a hint of cooking wine—though it’d be better if they were deveined before steaming.

Prefer this Nagoya outlet as the place is bright, airy and clean. Can have choice of aircond seating or non aircond. We came for dinner and 5 pax. It was not crowded and we were seated immediately. Staff are friendly and recommends their dishes well. We decided on steam platter after many fried meals. Crabs, prawns, scallops and shell fishes were very fresh. Bbq tumeric squid was very fresh and delicious. Avocado juice Highly recommended

Love Seafood Batam is a great spot for fresh and flavorful seafood dining. The restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes, and most of what we ordered was delicious and well-prepared. The grilled seafood, in particular, stood out for its freshness and perfect seasoning — a highlight that truly captures the essence of Batam’s coastal flavors. The ambiance is relaxed and lively, making it an ideal place for families and groups to enjoy a hearty seafood meal. Service overall was friendly and quick, though there was a small hiccup during our visit. One of the staff members seemed unsure about where to deliver our grilled stingray — they initially brought two pieces to our table, then took them back and placed them on another table before finally returning them to us later. It was a minor confusion, but something that could be improved with better coordination. Despite that small issue, the overall experience was very satisfying. The food quality, portion size, and fair pricing make Love Seafood Batam well worth visiting. With a bit more attention to service consistency, this place could easily earn a perfect 5-star rating. I’ll definitely return for another seafood feast soon!

A friend recommendation for lunch or dinner. The squid, prawns and crabs were fresh and tasty... but i might choose other veggies. Maybe a larger fan around to chase the flies and heat away will improve my rating for the atmosphere. We had some beer as an excuse to cool ourselves down. Otherwise, consider dinner instead.

I absolutely love Love Seafood Batam and highly recommend it, but if you go, there are only three mandatory dishes you must order to get the best experience: Steamed Garlic Flower Crab (CRAB-SOLUTELY ESSENTIAL): I honestly never liked flower crab until I tried the one here. It is incredibly fresh, sweet, and perfectly cooked. The delicate steaming with garlic is the best way to enjoy its flavor. Steamed Garlic Prawns: Again, the freshness shines through. Steaming with garlic is the ultimate test of quality, and these prawns passed with flying colors—they were tender, sweet, and succulent. Gong Gong (Sea Snails): This local delicacy is a perfect complement to the meal. Simple, delicious, and a required part of the experience here. Must dip with their special green chili. Dishes to Note: Fish: We tried the fish, and honestly, I found it to be just 'so-so' and not particularly great value for money compared to their crabs and prawns. I would skip the fish and stick to their specialties. Lala Beehoon: I was really disappointed they didn't have the Lala (clams) the day I went, as their Lala Beehoon is usually incredibly yummy and a personal favorite. If they have it, definitely order it! Fried Calamari: The fried calamari was decent and perfectly fine, but the stars of the show are definitely the steamed dishes. Why I choose Steaming: I always order steamed garlic preparations for the crab and prawns because it’s the purest way to taste the actual freshness and quality of the seafood—and Love Seafood truly excels at it. Go for the crab, prawns, and gong gong, and you will leave very happy!

Four of us had dinner here on 7 Nov. The food here is delicious and the staff are friendly. Location is also very convenient, located in the heart of the city. Prices here, however, are more expensive than Golden Prawn 556 for the lobsters. But overall, still a nice meal here.

Fresh seafood and very welcoming customer service. The place was quite crowded, which says a lot about its popularity. There are both indoor and outdoor seating options—we chose to sit outdoors and the weather was cool and comfortable. The staff were honest and thoughtful when taking our order—no hard selling, just good recommendations based on our group size. Prices were very affordable, I’d even say cheap by Singapore standards. We all left with full stomachs and smiles on our faces. Definitely a pleasant dining experience.
